VaMEx3-MarsSymphony - Mars mission

The German space initiative VaMEx by DLR will explore the limits of Mars and we are part of it!

VaMEx – Valles Marineris Explorer is all about uncovering the mysteries hidden in the valleys and caves of the enormous canyon Valles Marineris on Mars, and it'll be looking for signs of life! A swarm of autonomous, networked robots to the surface of Mars will make this happen.

We're part of the communication subproject "VaMEx3-MarsSymphony" in cooperation with the University of Würzburg. We will further develop our flight-proven XLink into a Ka-band capable transceiver for the use on landers and small interplanetary satellites, and will also develop customized and flexible transmission protocols for the project.
